What changes when you zoom out
On the one-minute frame a single week holds thousands of candles, more than the screen can show. Instead of dropping part of the history, neighbouring candles merge into one on screen: the group's highest price becomes the high, its lowest the low, the first open and the last close. You zoom out, see the whole range, and no level the market actually made disappears.
- ▸The high and the low inside each group stay visible no matter how far you zoom out
- ▸The info strip shows the visible candle count and the range in front of you
- ▸Zooming back in restores the candles to their original detail immediately
Why the chart does not snap back while you study an earlier area
Prices keep arriving while you look, and if the view moved with every update you would lose your place. So the chart follows the newest candle only when you are parked at the right edge; if you dragged back or zoomed into a specific area, your position stays fixed until you return yourself. The same rule applies on mobile with one-finger pan and two-finger pinch.
If it feels slow on an older device
- 1Move to a larger timeframe (15-minute or hourly) instead of the one-minute frame.
- 2Turn off studies you are not using from the toolbar; each one is computed on your device.
- 3Close other heavy browser tabs — they share the same device resources.
- 4Update your browser: graphics acceleration is better on recent versions.
If your device does not support hardware-accelerated drawing, the workspace automatically uses an alternative drawing path with the same data and the same studies, losing no analysis feature.
